The 68th Annual World Series of Drag Racing held August 26-28, 2022 at the legendary Cordova Dragway was a huge success and one of the best ones yet according to fans!
This year's World Series was very special for many reasons. Cordova Dragway is under the new ownership and leadership of the Crownhart family. Countless improvements have been made, including a new surface! There's no doubt the Crownhart family cares about its racers and fans with the incredible number of first-year improvements made at the facility.
One of their improvements was implementing Trackside for online and on-site ticket sales through Trackside POS, along with a facility-wide WiFi network.
Trackside has enabled Cordova Dragway to seamlessly sell tickets online and on-site. Credit cards can be accepted reliably anywhere on the property (along with cash) with robust data and reporting through Trackside POS.
Attendees of the World Series directly benefited from Trackside; patrons were thrilled with only a 10-15 minute wait time at its peak as traffic flooded into the facility endlessly. Patrons were met with the ability to purchase their tickets without leaving their car using the new Trackside Handheld POS, increasing the throughput at the gates.
Dan Crownhart said "I knew we had the right company to help us grow when we first started the system. Now I am 100 percent confident."
Trackside Systems owners, Jason & Sarah Kennedy were proud to be on-site to support Cordova Dragway and the World Series of Drag Racing!
